BUILD MY OWN BRAND
Through various graphic design projects, I explored both commercial and community-oriented design work. I designed apparel for an international clothing client, where my task was to merge cultural aesthetics with modern streetwear identity. At the same time, I contributed to my student organization by creating engaging social media posts that strengthened communication and visual branding. These projects taught me how design can adapt to different industries and still carry a strong message.

Industry :
Clothes
Client :
National
Project Duration :
3 days

Problem :
For the apparel project, the main challenge was translating the client’s vision into a design that would resonate with their target market abroad, while still maintaining originality and avoiding clichés. Meanwhile, in the student organization, the issue was more about engagement, most of the posts were too text-heavy and failed to grab attention from students, which made information less effective.
Solution :
To solve the apparel challenge, I researched cultural symbols, fashion trends, and typography styles to create designs that felt authentic yet globally appealing. I focused on versatile visuals that could work well across multiple mediums, from digital previews to printed shirts. For the student organization, I redesigned social media templates with bolder typography, consistent color palettes, and clean layouts to make information easier to digest. The goal was to balance creativity with clarity.

Challenge :
One of the toughest challenges in the apparel project was aligning with the client’s feedback cycle, since working with an international client meant different perspectives and communication barriers. It required flexibility and multiple revisions to meet their standards. In the student organization, the challenge was working with limited resources (time, tools, and guidelines), which pushed me to be more resourceful in delivering effective designs without overcomplicating the process.
Summary :
These experiences highlighted the versatility of graphic design. Designing for a fashion client sharpened my ability to merge aesthetics with market trends, while the student organization projects strengthened my skills in visual communication and branding. Together, they taught me that good design isn’t just about making something look beautiful it’s about solving problems, conveying messages clearly, and creating work that resonates with people.
